1. Look inside the bag
Look at the Coach logo inside. All authentic Coach handbags will have a logo on the inside near the zipper. This logo may be a trademark pattern, or it may be a traditional leather trademark. If there is no trademark inside, or the trademark is printed on other materials, then the bag may be fake.
2. Check the lining. If there is Coach’s classic CC pattern on the outside of the lining, it will never be on the inside; and if there is a CC pattern on the inside, there will definitely not be on the outside; sometimes, there is no CC pattern on the entire lining. If your bag has the CC pattern printed on the entire lining, then the bag is definitely fake.
3. Check the origin of the bag. Don’t be impatient when you see “Made in China”. This does not mean that the bag must be fake. Although Coach was born in the United States, it does allocate production tasks to other countries such as China.
4. Look at the internal verification code (credo patch). The verification code is a string of numbers printed on the inside of the Coach bag. However, some small bags such as clutches, swingpacks and mini bags do not have verification codes. The last four digits of the verification code are composed of letters and numbers. This string of numbers is the style code of the bag.
Pay attention to whether the verification code is printed or engraved. Authentic Coach bags are definitely engraved, only fake bags are printed.
