The competent authority for trademark registration in Iran is the Registration Bureau under the Ministry of Justice. Trademark applicants can submit trademark applications by themselves or entrust a specialized trademark attorney to handle trademark applications;

Within 15 days after the trademark application is submitted, the registration office will make a decision to accept the trademark registration or reject the trademark application. If the registration office makes a decision to reject a trademark application and at the same time make a request for amendment, the reason for the rejection must be stated to the trademark applicant, and the applicant can do so within a certain period (2 months for applicants in Iran and 6 months for applicants abroad) months), make corresponding modifications to the trademark application based on the reasons for rejection.

If no objection is raised or the objection is not established after 30 days of trademark announcement, or if the trademark application is approved for registration through litigation procedures, the registration office will issue a trademark registration certificate to the trademark applicant.
