Usage period of green food label

The right to use the Green Food Label is valid for three years. Products that have passed green food certification can use the green food logo in a unified format. The validity period is 3 years, starting from the day when the certificate is obtained through certification. After the expiration, the production enterprise must re-apply for certification. Green food refers to safe, high-quality edible agricultural products and related products that are produced in an excellent ecological environment, produced in accordance with green food standards, implement full quality control, and obtain the right to use the green food label.

If the certificate expires and it is necessary to continue to use the green food mark, the mark user shall submit a written renewal application to the provincial agency three months before the expiration date. Provincial work agencies should organize and complete relevant inspections, testing and material review within 40 working days. If the applicant passes the initial review, the China Green Food Development Center will make a decision within ten working days on whether to approve the renewal. If the renewal is approved, the green food mark use contract will be renewed with the mark user, a new green food mark use certificate will be issued and announced; if the renewal is not granted, the mark user will be notified in writing and the reasons will be given. If the user of the mark fails to apply for renewal within the time limit, or if the application for renewal is not approved, he shall not continue to use the green food mark.

Requirements for the use of green food marks

1. Based on the specific legal attributes of the green food mark certification mark, the company's production process and the quality of its products can be measured through the use license of the mark. Whether it meets specific green food standards, and supervise the process of enterprises that meet the standards to strictly implement green food production operating procedures and correctly use green food labels.

2. According to the relevant provisions of the Trademark Law, the products that are eligible to apply for the use of green food labels include the following five categories: meat, non-live poultry, game, gravy, aquatic products, canned food, pickled, and dried products. Prepared fruits and products, pickled and dried vegetables, eggs, milk and dairy products, edible oils and fats, salads, edible pectin, processed nuts, dried fungi products, food protein.
