2. What should you pay attention to when licensing brands to Tmall stores?

1. If the store type you apply for is a flagship store, and the brand licensor is a mainland-registered company, you need to invite the brand licensor to enter the brand company’s workbench to complete brand recognition and authorization online;

Brand authorization is a preparatory work that every Tmall merchant must make before opening a store. Only by completing this step can you safely sell goods on Tmall.

3. What are the categories of trademark license scope?

According to the provisions of my country's Trademark Law, only registered trademarks can be transferred. The transfer of trademarks that have not been registered by the trademark management department is not protected by law.

Article 42: When transferring a registered trademark, the transferor and the transferee shall sign a transfer agreement and *** File an application with the Trademark Office. The transferee shall ensure the quality of the goods using the registered trademark.

When transferring a registered trademark, the trademark registrant shall transfer all similar trademarks registered on the same goods, or identical or similar trademarks registered on similar goods.

After the transfer of a registered trademark is approved, it will be announced. The assignee shall enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark from the date of announcement.
