Dazhai is a Yao ethnic village and consists of 3 scenic spots, namely: 1 No. Xishan Shaole, No. 2 Thousand Layer Ladder, No. 3 Golden Buddha Summit. It is best to stay in Dazhai for one night. In this way, you can go from scenic spot No. 2 to scenic spot No. 1 (where the Panoramic Tower is located), and watch scenic spot No. 3 early the next day.

We had a meal at Hu Chihai in the Panoramic Building that night. In addition to ordering Dazhai special local chicken and bamboo tube rice, we also ordered Yangmei wine (not too strong, sweet and sour, highly recommended) ).

In December, Dazhai’s green color has faded and is mainly earthy yellow. Even this is enough to make us exclaim the majesty of the terraced fields and the beauty of every ten steps. Coupled with the good weather that day and the few smokes from the village, it was like a paradise. We greedily breathe air without any pollution.

The Panoramic Building houses dogs Xiao Huang and Xiao Bai, mother and daughter. Xiao Huang followed us all morning the next day. Panorama building is very clean. We stayed in a view room. It's just that the food is a little expensive. But because of the good mood that day all this was not a problem.

I woke up early in the morning and waited to see the sunrise, but it was a pity that I didn't see it because it was cloudy that day. But such regrets did not affect our good mood along the way at all. The mother and daughter we met in the picture swam with us to scenic spot No. 3 under the leadership of Xiao Pan. There is also the joy of picking along the way. A mulberry-like, pure red, translucent, sweet and sour plant grows in a shady and hidden place on the stockade. Delicious. Have the fun of treasure hunting. The mother and daughter who were traveling with me were from Northeastern China, lively and cheerful.

In the morning, I also met Seck, a Chinese-Australian who was lost. My husband and I helped her ask for directions, told her how to catch the shuttle bus, and helped her check in at the hotel that night. My husband complimented me on how good my English is and he was so impressed. And we really enjoy helping others.

We went to the famous Jinlong Village for dinner. Highly recommend their steamed bacon with taro. Stayed at the Lixin Hotel recommended by Northeast mother and daughter. The main thing is that there are two rivers and four lakes in front of the door, and the transportation is very convenient.

Tour two rivers and four lakes in the evening. We didn't finish all the tours. The temperature dropped that night, mainly because the artificial traces were too heavy, which was not our favorite style.

The third day:

It is a must to go to Yangdi from Guilin You need to take the bus at Guilin South Railway Station. After 50 minutes, we arrived at the three-way intersection and took the minibus to Yangdi.

For the bamboo raft tour on the Li River, we contacted Aunt Qin and Uncle Yang who were recommended online in advance. They are simple villagers who have lived in the village beside the Li River for decades. Aunt Qin was very enthusiastic and let us eat grapefruit and dried sweet potatoes at their place. December is the dry season in the Li River, and the water is not very deep in many places. Even so, the Lijiang River is still beautiful in our eyes. We walked for a while near Yangdi Pier, and then mainly took a bamboo raft tour.

The temperature dropped sharply that day. Even though we wore thick clothes, the cold was still unbearable. The mountains and waters of the Li River become more feminine and beautiful in the coldness. Unfortunately, my husband caught a cold and had a fever that night.

After 5 hours, we drifted to the place with a background of 20 yuan, that is, after the Nine Horses Painting Mountain, our trip to the Li River came to an end. After landing, we walked to the old house in Xingping. Very nostalgic and quiet. Took a lot of nice photos.

When we arrived at Yangshuo West Street, we went straight to Luchen Inn. Stayed in a deluxe standard room, which was clean and had a balcony. The most important thing is not noisy at night. Friends who are afraid of noise must do some research when choosing accommodation on West Street and find some inns that are far away from the bars.

We had beer fish from Wenming West Street for dinner. Sister Xie’s Beer Fish is highly recommended online. We went to another "One Piece of Wa" store, and later we also went to Sister Xie. My husband and I both agree that a piece of tile is delicious. A piece of tile is at the intersection of West Street. I heard that it was even featured on CCTV, and you can get a 10% discount through Lvchen.

I read the online introduction to Yangshuo by bicycle. The sunset, the smoke from the kitchen, As a cattle herder, expectations are unknowingly raised very high. Maybe it was because of the morning that I missed all of these, and the distance was much shorter than expected. But I accidentally discovered the sugar orange field. Looking around, the trees are covered with sugar oranges. Because there were no fellows around, it always felt like being sneaky, so my husband and I consciously only picked a few to eat. Perhaps because they were "stolen", the sugar oranges that day were particularly sweet.

As soon as we left the inn, we met Xiao Pan, who was selling tour guide services. My husband said that You Zhang looks a bit like my sister, she must be about the same age, and she looks very friendly. I decided to ask Xiao Pan to be my tour guide. I also rented two cars through her for 30 yuan. You must rent a mountain bike for your bicycle. There are no roads in the countryside, only bumpy gravel roads. Xiao Pan is very simple and lovable. Later, we booked many tickets through her.

Because my husband had a fever that day, we did not arrange other projects. I stayed in the inn all afternoon and night to take care of him. I bought cold medicine, borrowed the boss’s stove and pot, and made him cola and ginger soup. Everything was fine early the next morning.

When you arrive in Yangshuo, you must see the caves. We chose Yinziyan.

Yinziyan is located in Lipu County, half an hour's drive from Yangshuo. There will be many people at Yangshuo bus station asking you to go. The regular price is 60 yuan (including round-trip fare, tickets and tour guide explanation). The visit in the cave lasted about an hour, and what impressed me most were the silvery-white stalactites, which looked like snow-capped rocks under the light, flashing with silvery light, hence the name Silver Cave.

The stalactites in Yinzi Rock are strange and beautiful against the backdrop of various lights. We marveled at the wonders of nature. Interestingly, according to the tour guide's explanation, stalactites are also divided into young, young, middle-aged and old. As we age, the color becomes increasingly dull. The locals have made stories about many of the stones. In the midst of each wonderful folk tale, I finished the one-hour journey without even realizing it.

After visiting Yinziyan, we returned home satisfied. At noon, we went to the Red Star Express pizza recommended by many people online. We ordered assorted pizzas and taquitos. This pizza is the best I've ever eaten. And the 6-inch model only costs less than 40 yuan. Very effective after eating.

In the afternoon we strolled around West Street leisurely and went to the famous "Mingyuan Coffee" for a long time. Mingyuan Coffee has opened a second store. We chose the new store after comparing. The decoration here is very bourgeois, with all the American furniture. When I walked in, I met Taishan, the boss’s big golden retriever. However, Taishan was not very friendly and kept barking when he saw strangers, so we stayed away from him. I ordered an Irish coffee, which was authentic. We also met Melonie and her sister Karen from the United States in Ming Yuan. We chatted for a long time and had a lot of fun.

In the evening I went to see the 2004 Water Song and Dance Impression Liu Sanjie directed by Zhang Yimou. To the point of grandeur. After watching it, I felt that the whole performance was too Zhang Yimou. Similar to the Olympic Games. It looks very enjoyable, but the tickets still feel a bit expensive. Maybe this is the price of watching a famous director.

Rafting on the Yulong River

We chose to raft the entire Yulong River. At the exit of Yangshuo Bus Station, there is a minibus from Yangshuo to Jinbao (20 minutes/trip, 3.5 yuan/person) to Baisha Yulong Village (get off at Jinlong Bridge), and it will arrive in about 25 minutes , the fare is 5 yuan/person (the shuttle bus from Yangshuo to Jinbao has two lines, the northern line takes Baisha to Jinbao, and you can only get there by taking the shuttle bus of this line).

We contacted a famous online raft sealing master in advance, and the whole journey was 190 yuan/raft. Highly recommend Master Feng (Feng Youting). Master Feng, a middle-aged man in his early 40s, has been working as a raft worker on the Yulong River for 7 years.

Master Feng was a very down-to-earth and talkative person. He told us many beautiful legends about the Yulong River along the way, which made our rafting last for nearly 5 hours without even realizing it, but we didn't feel bored at all. And the day turned out to be a sunny day with the sun shining brightly as expected. This allows us to fully enjoy the tranquil Yulong River.

Remarks:

The 190 yuan includes the taxes and fees paid by the raft workers. And the rafting work is very hard, it takes a whole day of non-stop paddling and talking, so don’t bother with the price.

Have lunch at Xinghe Farmhouse at noon. Invited Master Feng to join us. It tastes pretty good, very homely.

When the raft reached the Gongnong Bridge, it also reached the end of the rafting. The minibus that passes by on the roadside goes back to Yangshuo, and the fare is 2.5 yuan/person.

Day 7:

Shopping, back to Beijing
