1, trademark form review

The applicant submits the application documents to the trademark registration office, and the trademark registrar will review the legality of the submitted application documents, trademark drawings, power of attorney and other documents; Examine whether the trademark can be registered, and if it meets the requirements, grant the application date and application number.

2. Trademark search report

The Association Bureau will search the pre-registered or applied Greek trademarks and issue a search report. The applicant will receive the search report before the trademark is approved and announced, and decide whether to arrange the trademark announcement.

3. Examination of the essence of the trademark

The Association Bureau will examine the Greek trademark application and the registration of trademark application documents. Without examining the relevant reasons, the application will not be rejected because of invoking prior rights.

4. Greek trademark announcement

After examining the trademark application documents, the trademark registrar thinks that the trademark application can be accepted, and the trademark documents will be published in the official trademark announcement of Greece. 3 months from the date of announcement is the objection period.

5. Registration and approval of Greek trademarks

A trademark that can be registered after an objection ruling, or a trademark that has been announced without objection, shall be approved for registration and a trademark registration certificate shall be issued.
