After successful operation in 1992, Tai'an Brewery exceeded the production and sales mark of 20,000 tons for the first time since its establishment. In 1993 and 1994, production and sales doubled continuously. By 1997, the production and sales of Tai'an Brewery exceeded 120,000 tons.
At the end of 1999, Tai'an Brewery made preliminary contact with Hong Kong Hengjie Printing Co., Ltd. to negotiate related investment matters. In February 2000, Tai'an Brewery underwent corporate restructuring. Taishan San Miguel Group, as the representative of state-owned shares, reorganized Tai'an Brewery with the Tai'an Brewery Employee Stockholders Association, and the company name was officially changed to Taishan San Miguel Group Beer. Ltd.
On August 1, 2000, Tai'an Taishan Beer Co., Ltd., jointly funded by Taishan San Miguel Group Beer Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Hengjie Printing Co., Ltd., was officially established. The company's registered capital is 65 million yuan, of which the Chinese shareholder Taishan San Miguel Group Beer Co., Ltd. holds 25 million yuan, accounting for 38.46%; the Hong Kong shareholder Hong Kong Hengjie Printing Co., Ltd. holds 40 million yuan, accounting for 61.54%.
On December 7, 2002, with the approval of Tai'an Foreign Economic and Trade Cooperation Bureau, Shandong Provincial People's Government, and Tai'an Industrial and Commercial Bureau, Dongguan Hucai Printing Co., Ltd. acquired Taishan San Miguel Group Beer Co., Ltd. 14.6819 million yuan of shares in Taian Taishan Beer Co., Ltd. The company's capital is composed of investment from three parties, of which Hong Kong Hengjie Printing Co., Ltd. holds 61.54 shares, Dongguan Hucai Printing Co., Ltd. holds 22.59 shares, and Taishan San Miguel Group Beer Co., Ltd. holds 15.87 shares.
At the end of 2002, after two years of transitional operation, Tai'an Taishan Beer Co., Ltd. achieved its goal of turning losses around and achieved a profit of more than 1.3 million yuan that year.

On May 30, 2003, the Hong Kong shareholder of Taian Taishan Beer Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Hengjie Printing Co., Ltd., was changed to Hong Kong Hucai Group Co., Ltd.
On June 23, 2003, the "Klitzer" trademark used by Tai'an Taishan Beer Co., Ltd. on beer was recognized as a famous trademark of Shandong Province by the Shandong Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce.
In December 2003, Klitzer beer produced by Tai'an Taishan Beer Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary title of "Shandong Famous Brand Product" by the Shandong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission.
In February 2004, Taian Taishan Beer Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Shandong Taishan Beer Co., Ltd.
In October 2005, the Laiwu Guanghan Palace Brewery was successfully reorganized and Taishan Beer (Laiwu) Co., Ltd. was established.
