generic name
candesartan tablets
components
candesartan cilexetil is the main component of this product. Chemical name: ()-1-[[(cyclohexyloxy) carbonyl] oxo] ethyl -2- ethoxy -1-[[2'-(1H- tetrazolyl -5)-[1,1'- biphenyl ]-4- yl] methyl ]-1H- benzimidazole. Molecular formula: C33H34N6O6 Molecular weight: 61.67
Allergic essential hypertension.
Administration and dosage: Generally, adults take candesartan cilexetil 4 ~ 8 mg once a day, and the dosage can be increased to 12mg if necessary.
contraindications
(1) patients with allergic history to the ingredients of this preparation.
(2) women who are pregnant or may be pregnant (refer to the medication items for pregnant women and lactating women).
Precautions 1. Careful medication (for the following patients)
(1) Patients with bilateral or unilateral renal artery stenosis (see 2. Important basic precautions).
(2) Patients with hyperkalemia (see 2. Important basic precautions).
(3) Patients with liver dysfunction may worsen their liver function. Moreover, it is speculated that the clearance rate of active metabolite candesartan is reduced, so it should be taken from a small dose, and Biloxi (candesartan cilexetil tablets) should be used carefully (refer to pharmacokinetics).
(4) patients with severe renal dysfunction (due to excessive blood pressure reduction, renal function may deteriorate, so once a day, starting from 2mg, take the medicine carefully).
(5) Patients with drug allergy history.
(6) elderly patients (refer to medication items for elderly patients).
2. Important basic precautions
(1) Patients with bilateral or unilateral renal artery stenosis, when taking drugs of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, may increase the risk of renal function due to the decrease of renal blood flow and filtration pressure, and should try to avoid taking this drug unless it is considered necessary for treatment.
(2) Because hyperkalemia may be aggravated, patients with hyperkalemia should try to avoid taking this medicine unless it is considered necessary for treatment. In addition, there are renal dysfunction and uncontrollable diabetes, because these patients are easy to develop hyperkalemia, we should pay close attention to the level of hyperkalemia.
(3) Because of taking Biloxi (Candesartan cilexetil tablets), blood pressure sometimes drops sharply, especially for the following patients, we should start with a small dose. When increasing the dose, we should carefully observe the patient's condition and proceed slowly.
a. Patients undergoing hemodialysis.
B. Patients with strict salt restriction therapy.
C. Patients taking diuretic antihypertensive drugs (especially those who started taking diuretic antihypertensive drugs).
(4) Because of blood pressure lowering, dizziness and stumbling sometimes occur, so attention should be paid when working at height and driving vehicles.
(5) It is best to stop taking Biloxi (Candesartan cilexetil tablets) 24 hours before operation.
(6) At the time of drug delivery: PTP-packed drugs should be taken out of PTP sheet (it has been reported that serious complications such as perforation and mediastinitis occurred due to the hard acute angle of PTP sheet penetrated into esophageal mucosa by mistake).
pregnant women and lactating women were given this preparation by gavage to rats in perinatal period and lactation period. It can be seen that the occurrence of hydronephrosis in newborn infants increased in the group of more than 1mg/Kg/ day. In addition, it has been reported that in hypertensive patients who were given angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors in the second and third trimester of pregnancy, oligohydramnios, fetal and neonatal deaths, neonatal hypotension, renal failure, hyperkalemia, and headache occurred. This medicine is prohibited for pregnant women or women who may be pregnant.
After the preparation was given to perinatal and lactating rats by gavage, the occurrence of hydronephrosis in newborn offspring was increased in the group of more than 1mg/Kg/ day. In addition, only when the preparation was given to rats in the late pregnancy or lactation period, the hydronephrosis of newborn offspring increased in the 3mg/Kg/ day administration group. Breast-feeding women should avoid taking medicine and stop breastfeeding when they have to take medicine.
The safety of children's medication for children has not been determined (no use experience).
Generally speaking, it is considered that the elderly should not excessively reduce blood pressure (which may cause cerebral infarction, etc.). Biloxi (Candesartan cilexetil tablets) should be taken carefully while observing the patient.
drug overdose according to pharmacological research, overdose is mainly manifested as symptomatic hypotension and dizziness. If symptomatic hypotension occurs, symptomatic treatment and observation of vital signs are necessary. The patient must lie on his back with his feet high and his head low. If necessary, he should be injected with isotonic saline to increase his plasma volume. If the above measures still cannot be corrected, the patient can be shielded by sympathomimetic drug-drug interaction < P > storage < P > and sealed.
