1. How to install the current transformer

2. The secondary circuit wires or cables should all use copper wires. The cross-section of the current transformer loop wire should not be less than 2.5mm2, and the cross-section of the voltage transformer loop wire should not be less than 1.5mm2.

3. Open circuit is not allowed on the secondary side of the current transformer. When only one secondary circuit is used for the secondary double-turn transformer, the other secondary circuit should be reliably short-circuited.

4. The secondary side of the low-voltage current transformer does not need to be grounded. Because the insulation levels of the wires, energy meters and transformers used in the low-voltage metering device are the same, the maximum voltage they can withstand is basically the same; in addition, after the secondary winding is grounded, the insulation level of the primary circuit of the entire device to the ground is reduced, which can easily cause insulation weaknesses.
