If you apply for registration in Madrid, the World Intellectual Property Organization will issue a registration certificate. If a country agrees to protect your trademark, Congress will issue a "Notice of Agreeing to Protect Trademark", which will be mailed to WIPO by that country and then forwarded to the agency. WIPO's registration certificate is used together with the "Notice of Agreeing to Protect the Trademark of * *" in the designated country.
The Notice of Agreeing to Protect the Trademark of * * has the same legal effect as the registration certificate obtained by directly applying for registered trademark in China.
