In mid-April, Zengcheng police received a report from the masses from the Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, which reflected that there was a suspected fake cigarette den in Paitan Village, Paitan Town, Zengcheng District. The police investigation found that several houses were found in a forest in Xiaowu, Paitan Village. No matter day or night, the doors and windows of these houses were closed, and the roar of machines was faintly heard, and there was a special person "watching the wind" near the entrance and exit of the house.

after further investigation, the task force quickly learned that the gang has special personnel in charge of processing, packaging, transportation and other aspects, and the processing point operates in two shifts 24 hours a day, and ships twice a day, once at 9: am and once at 7: pm. The driver transported the fake cigarettes to a remote warehouse in Xindong Village, Yongning Street, Zengcheng District, and handed them over to another truck.

Then, the counterfeit raw materials such as cut tobacco are transported back to the counterfeit dens in Paitan Village from the warehouse for processing. The delivered trucks also transport the fake cigarettes to various logistics points and sell them all over the country. On April 25th, the task force, together with Zengcheng Inspection Brigade of Guangzhou Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, carried out an arrest operation on the fake warehouse in Xindong Village.

Three criminal suspects were arrested, and 2.15 million cigarettes with counterfeit registered trademarks, 1,2 kilograms of cigarette paper, 81, filter rods and other counterfeit raw materials were seized. After the arrest of Xindong Village was successful, the arresting team members who ambushed the fake dens in Paitan Village acted decisively and arrested four suspects on the spot at the fake processing point.
