The conditions for Wal-Mart’s cross-border e-commerce entry are as follows:
1. It must be a US company.
2. Have a U.S. corporate tax number EIN.
3. There are self-built warehouses in the United States or third-party warehouses in the United States.
4. Must have a US business address.
5. Have sales experience on cross-border e-commerce platforms.
Walmart said that the Walmart global risk control and compliance team will review the validity of the business license provided by Chinese sellers. For sellers who do not have more than one year of experience in operating e-commerce platforms in the North American market (for example, you only did e-commerce in Southeast Asia before), Walmart’s U.S. e-commerce is temporarily closed to such sellers.
