What's the difference between the date of preliminary examination announcement and the date of registration announcement of trademarks?
according to article 28 of the new trademark law, the trademark office shall complete the examination of the trademark applied for registration within nine months from the date of receiving the application documents for trademark registration, and make a preliminary examination and announcement if it meets the relevant provisions of this law.

the notice period of preliminary examination is 3 months. If there is no objection within 3 months, a registration announcement will be issued.

Therefore, the announcement of trademark registration is generally 3 months later than the announcement date of preliminary examination.

However, if the trademark is filed for objection within 3 months, it will wait for the review result of the objection procedure, and if it is decided to approve the registration, it will issue a registration announcement.
