2. recommendation: after accepting the application, if it is considered to meet the requirements for the recognition of famous trademarks in Guangdong Province, it shall be recommended to the Guangdong Famous Trademark Recognition Committee after signing the recommendation opinions; If it is considered that it does not meet the conditions for recognition, it shall not be recommended and the applicant shall be notified.

3. Extension: The validity period of a famous trademark is three years. The trademark owner who needs to keep the title of Guangdong famous trademark at the expiration of the validity period should apply for extension three months before the expiration of the validity period of his famous trademark. The filing and examination of the application for extension shall be subject to the initial identification procedure of the famous trademark.
