Brand history
Dicos originated in Texas in the southern United States, 1994 entered Chengdu, China, and 1996 was acquired by Ding Xin International. Dicos, which landed in Chinese mainland for the first time, adopted the strategy of "blooming everywhere". However, due to insufficient market considerations and the financial turmoil, it finally had to move to second-and third-tier cities to avoid fierce competition with KFC and McDonald's in first-tier cities.

In February 2008, Dicos set up three regional companies, eleven subsidiaries, thirty operation centers and offices in the east, west and north of China, and opened 750 restaurants in 380 cities in 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions outside Hainan. In 2009, the total number of Dicos stores reached 1000.
