Chapter IV Measures for the Administration of Radioactive Drugs Packaging and Transportation of Radioactive Drugs

Article 2 The packaging of radioactive drugs must be safe and practical, meet the quality requirements of radioactive drugs, and have protective devices suitable for radioactive dosage. Packaging must be divided into two parts: inner packaging and outer packaging. The outer packaging must be labeled with trademarks, labels, instructions and radioactive drug signs, and the inner packaging must be labeled. The label must indicate the name of the drug, specific activity of radioactivity and quantity. In addition to the contents mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the instructions must also indicate the production unit, approval number, batch number, main components, factory date, radionuclide half-life, indications, usage, dosage, contraindications, validity period and precautions. Article 21 The transportation of radioactive drugs shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations formulated by the national transportation and postal departments. It is strictly forbidden for any unit or individual to carry radioactive drugs on public transport.
