Alpine goats mostly graze on beaches and embankments. The top grade is black below the joints. The "alpine goat" has a triangular head, thin ears, flexible eyes and strong limbs. Male and female sheep have beards under their chins, wide chests, straight backs and waists, big buttocks, short tails, well-developed breasts, and their two horns are turned backwards. Each ewe usually produces two litters of lambs per year, with two or three lambs per litter.
