Fujian salt is sea salt.
1. Fujian salt is famous throughout the country. Our province accounts for more than 70% of the national output of traditional artificial sun-dried sea salt, of which Putian salt is the most abundant. In 2022, Putian's sea salt output reached 107,400 tons, accounting for nearly half of the province. Putian Salt Farm is one of the first "ecological sea salt production bases" recognized by the China Salt Association in the country. The difference between sea salt and table salt:
1. Sea salt is generally more expensive than refined table salt because its collection method is more complicated. Sea salt is also table salt, so don’t eat too much. But the difference from table salt is that it contains much less sodium than table salt. Sea salt comes in various colors, including white, pink, black, gray and mixed colors, depending on its origin and mineral content. Ordinary refined salt is in the form of white fine particles.
2. In ancient times, sea salt was made using the ancient traditional manual salt-making process. It was selected and processed. It has the characteristics of natural purity, crystal white, salty and fresh, and sweet aftertaste. Residents in coastal areas have been fond of using sea salt products for cooking since ancient times.
5. Well mine salt is made from rock salt or underground natural bitter brine and is refined using a vacuum salt making process. During the production process of mine salt, some chemical impurity removers need to be added to remove impurities in the brine, and then it is refined through continuous processing through multiple processes.
