Huyou is a natural hybrid between pomelo and sweet orange. It is cultivated more in Zhejiang Province. The tree is strong, with a naturally rounded crown and upright branches. The fruit is tall, flat and round, with a single fruit weight of about 350 grams. When the fruit is long, the fruit is small and the skin is thin. When the fruit is small, the fruit is large and the skin is thick. There is an obvious or inconspicuous mark on the top of the fruit, and the skin is golden or orange in color. The capsule wall is thick, easy to peel off from the pulp, the soluble solids content can reach 11, the sweetness and sourness are moderate, slightly bitter, the flavor is strong and delicious, and the quality is relatively good. The number of seeds in a single fruit is 10 to 40, with 3 to 4 seeds in rare-seed varieties, with seeds in between. It is suitable for fresh food and processed juice. Ripe in mid-to-late November. It has good yield, relatively cold resistance, and is very resistant to storage.
