The famous "Fairy Goose Holding Eggs" is the most scenic highlight of our village. It is said that a long time ago, the swans who were in charge of the "Yaochi" in heaven were ordered by the Jade Emperor to come to the human world for inspection. They passed through nine continents and seven oceans for seven days and seven nights. They were tired and thirsty. When they looked down suddenly, they were struck by the beauty of this place. Mesmerized by the scenery. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the scenery is beautiful, and the clear river water is just right to quench my thirst. I stopped by to take a rest, but I didn't know I was tired. When I woke up, I laid a big and green egg in the world. For this reason, the Fairy Goose betrayed Heaven, determined to hatch her little swan, and never went on patrol again. This incident angered the Jade Emperor, and he threw a reassuring pill. From then on, the swan slept here, with her mouth dropped by the river and her egg in her arms.
This is the famous "Fairy Goose Holding Eggs" - the people here now call it Zhengjiashan.
Shiren Shima
At the junction of the northwest boundary of Yixin Village and Xiaoshao Village in Yanzikou Town, there is a mountain called Shiren Shima. At the top of the mountain, stands A naturally formed stone man and stone horse. The stone man rides on the back of the stone horse. Looking up from the 703 County Road at the foot of the mountain peak, it looks like a man riding a horse galloping on the top of the mountain peak.
According to legend, in ancient times, God sent an official down to earth to observe the conditions of the people of Yelang. On his way back to the Heavenly Palace, he caught sight of the Mianyu Fairy in the Mianyu River behind the curtain. This incident angered the Jade Emperor. After he returned, When he was on the top of a mountain near the Mianyu River, the Jade Emperor turned him and his horse into stone so that he could always look at the Mianyu River. The legendary bluefish in Yanzikou Town
A long time ago, there lived a family of elderly mother and a young couple in Huayu Cave. One winter, my mother was seriously ill and wanted to eat the flower fish in the flower fish cave. The thick ice in the ice and snow has sealed the entrance of the cave tightly. To get the fish, the ice cap must be melted and removed. When the couple went to fetch fish, they only brought a fish basket and no tools. In order for their mother to eat the fish as soon as possible, the couple hugged each other and lay on the ice to melt the ice with their body temperature. The ice slowly warmed, but the couple was unable to stand up and both fell into the ice cave. The old mother waited for a day but did not see her son and daughter-in-law return, so she asked the village neighbors to look for people. She saw two human-shaped holes in the ice of Huayu Cave. They were sighing and seven or eight fish flew out from the frozen mouth that melted. This fish was different from other fish. They both have four gills. From this, people say that the four-gilled fish was transformed by this filial couple.
Not only does the shape of this four-gill fish look different from ordinary fish, but its taste is also very special: it has a refreshing fragrance and is oily but not greasy. It is also a good medicine for patients to strengthen their health. Some patient went to the river to catch a few four-gill fish and ate them several times and he recovered. In particular, maternity fish not only nourishes the body but also releases milk. Even the baby is growing up healthy and strong.
Because the four-gilled fish has so many wonderful features, the news spread to the palace. The emperor ordered a tribute of four-gilled fish. At that time, it was all carried by people and horses, crossing thousands of mountains and rivers, and the four-branched fish could not survive in other water if it left the water flowing out of the Flower Fish Cave, and would die in a few hours at most. The four-gilled fish sent to the palace was either smelly or dried.
The emperor couldn't eat the fresh four-gill fish, so he ordered the officials and civilian husbands to be executed. The emperor killed countless creatures for this four-gilled fish. Later, the old emperor died and the new emperor came to the throne. In order to stabilize the society and appease the people, he issued a decree to exempt the four-gilled fish from paying tribute. From then on, the four-gilled fish was also called free fish, and the river was called free fish river. It wasn't until the family surnamed Zhang in Mianyang, Hubei Province moved to Zhangjiazhai on the bank of the Mianyu River to settle. In memory of their hometown, they rewritten the character "Mien" as "Mian", and the Mianyu River got its name. However, for hundreds of years, most people still wrote the name of this river as the fish-free river.
