How does Rolex tell the true from the false?
For the general layman, it is estimated that even if you see the watch movement, you don't know. In fact, some expensive watches in Switzerland are very particular about appearance marks and numbers, and many anti-counterfeiting measures have been taken. For example, Rolex has five numbers, namely: (1) case model, (2) watch production serial number, (3) movement serial number, (4) movement production serial number and (5) strap serial number. Except that the strap number is on the bright side of the strap discount, the rest are hidden and can only be seen by removing the strap or opening the back cover. Rolex watches also have many signs, especially newer watches. For example, the most popular fine steel+18K gold case for men's watches is 16233, while the same new model is 1 16233, with a 1 added in front of it, making it a 6-digit number. The new improvement is mainly in the structure of the strap. The original hollow strap was changed to solid, and the discount of the strap was different. There is also a change, that is, on the aperture around the edge of the watch dial, the production serial number of the watch is engraved on the circle. At present, no fake Rolex watch can imitate this practice. In fact, Rolex watches have done a lot of technical means in anti-counterfeiting, but no one has carefully observed them. As long as it is a Rolex produced in recent years, there will be a tiny crown-shaped LOGO icon at the bottom of the watch glass at 6 o'clock. You need to look carefully with a magnifying glass to see that the fake watch doesn't have this icon. The purpose of making fake watches is to grab huge illegal profits. Therefore, it will never work hard on details and materials, and neither will Rolex watches. There are two other ways to tell the truth. (1) In order to ensure the waterproof performance of watches, all Rolex watches have knobs on the outside and knobs on the inside! That is to say, unlike ordinary watches, the handle tube of Rolex watches is not riveted on the case through the traditional interference fit process, but screwed into the case through threads. In order to screw it tightly into the shell, there are teeth on the inner wall of the handle tube, and a special tool is put on the teeth to screw it in. When we completely pull out the watch handle and look through the gap between the watch handle and the case with a magnifying glass, we can clearly see the teeth on the inner wall of the handle tube (see figure), and there is no fake watch.
