Panama's Trademark Law stipulates that if the registrant does not use the trademark within 1 year after registration, the trademark registration will automatically become invalid and can be used and registered by others in the future. Panama's trademark registration is valid for 10 years, and can be renewed upon expiration. The trademark renewal period is also 10 year. If no application for renewal is made within this period, its renewal right will be lost. The trademark will be considered invalid.
