1. Registration process

4. Precautions

(1) The applicant must meet the following conditions: the applicant should be an individual, enterprise or other organization that is a party to the Madrid system, and can also file an application with the World Intellectual Property Organization on the basis of the registered trademark in China; The basic trademark can be a trademark that has been accepted or registered in China.

(2) The name and address of the Madrid applicant should be consistent with the basic application/registration;

(3) The scope of goods/services applied for in Madrid can be less than or equal to the scope of goods/services applied for in the basic application, but it cannot exceed the scope of the original basic application;

(4) Because some member countries use their own goods/services classification table (usually more detailed than the classification of Nice Code) on the basis of the classification of Nice Code, it is easy to issue review opinions due to the description of goods.
