Male inflorescence 1-2 cm long, inflorescence axis hairy; 3-5 flowers are clustered into clusters, 1-3 (-5) female flowers are well developed, and the lower part of the style is hairy. The sharp spines of mature shell bucket are long and short, sparse and dense. When dense, the outer wall of shell bucket is completely covered, and when sparse, the outer wall is visible. The diameter of the shell bucket is 4.5-6.5 cm. Nuts are 1.5-3 cm high and 1.8-3.5 cm wide. The flowering period is from April to June, and the fruiting period is from August to October.
