Hospital acceptance
Xijing Hospital is located in the beautiful ancient capital of Xi'an. It is the first affiliated hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. It was formerly the Central Hospital born in 1939 during the Anti-Japanese War in Yan'an. Merged with the former Affiliated Hospital of Fifth Military Medical University. In 2017, he was transferred to the Air Force.
Historical evolution
Our hospital is a hospital with a long history and glorious revolutionary tradition. Its predecessor is the Central Hospital established in Yan'an in November 1939 and the hospital directly under the Ministry of Health of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Shanxi-Suiyuan Joint Defense Forces established in Shanxi in 1947. After entering Xi'an in June 1949, the Health Clinic of the People's Medical College of the Northwest Military Region was merged into a directly affiliated hospital.
In August 1950, the First Rear Area Hospital merged with the Affiliated Hospital of Northwest People's Medical College to form the Second Army Hospital of the Northwest Military Region, which was managed by Northwest People's Medical College. In 1954, the Second Army Hospital was named the Affiliated Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. In that year, it merged with the Affiliated Hospital of the Fifth Military Medical University and was called the Affiliated Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University.
In 1969, he moved to Chongqing with the school and moved back in 1975. Since October 2, 1984, it has been known as Xijing Hospital to the outside world. In 2017, it was transferred to the Air Force. It is a large comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care.
