Imported prepackaged foods and food additives should have Chinese labels; If there should be a manual according to law, there should also be a Chinese manual. Labels and instructions shall conform to the provisions of this Law and other relevant Chinese laws and administrative regulations and the requirements of national food safety standards, and shall specify the origin of food and the name, address and contact information of domestic agents. Prepackaged foods does not have Chinese labels and instructions, or the labels and instructions are not in conformity with the provisions, and shall not be imported.
II. Analysis Details
If the imported labels in prepackaged foods fail to pass the inspection, the inspection and quarantine institution shall inform the importer or his agent of all the contents of the nonconformities at one time. If the safety, health and environmental protection projects are unqualified, the inspection and quarantine institution shall order the importer or his agent to destroy them, or issue a notice of return treatment, and the importer or his agent shall go through the return formalities. If other items are unqualified, the importer or his agent may carry out technical treatment under the supervision of the inspection and quarantine institution. If the technical treatment cannot be carried out or the re-inspection after the technical treatment is still unqualified, the inspection and quarantine institution shall order the importer or his agent to return or destroy it.
III. Food import declaration materials
1. Official certificate of origin and free sales certificate;
2. Official health certificate of the producing country;
3. List of manufacturers' ingredients;
4. manufacturer's product inspection report;
5. Proof that the product is registered and approved for sale in its country;
6. One sample of the original packaging label and three samples of Chinese and English labels;
7. The official quarantine certificate of the manufacturer is required;

9. Date of production.
