Shaxian Snacks is not a chain store, Shaxian Snacks is a collective trademark. Shaxian snacks have a long history. They originated from the Chinese food culture in the Yellow River Basin of the Central Plains during the Xia, Shang, Zhou, Jin and Song Dynasties. They have a strong historical and cultural foundation among the people and are especially famous for their wide variety, unique flavor and economic benefits.

On May 24, 2021, the Shaxian snack making skills reported by Sanming City, Fujian Province were approved by the State Council and included in the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects.
