In the suburbs of Wenzhou, Hidden in the hinterland of Yandang Mountain, there is a mysterious village named Waishuiliang.

Just like the name of the place, this place is secretive and quiet, like an isolated paradise, with the aura of a fairy and a hero living in seclusion.

Ancient stone bridges, continuous bamboo forests, clear mountain streams...as well as old trees, stone houses, and stone roads surround this hidden village with only 20 households.

This is a well-known ancient papermaking village. There are dozens of papermaking pools at the entrance of the village, which are often mistaken for hot springs by people from outside.

The way to explore Waishuiliang and the artistic environment is through here. The pebbles on the bottom of the water and the fish swimming in the water can all be seen clearly. People say this is called Longxi.

The stone road in the village leading to the B&B has a more domineering name, called Panlong Ancient Road. It seems that at the intersection in front, there will be a hidden master coming out to greet you.

Far away from the gathering places where Wenzhou’s homestays gather, Waishuiliang·Art is hidden in this ancient village in the mountains, but it cannot stop people from exploring it. pace.

The small stone house that once had only three rooms still detonated this unknown ancient village in the mountains.

Different from ordinary B&Bs rooted in rural nature, there are no novel and modern architectural designs. The simple stone houses just seem to belong here.

Waishuiliang was originally a stone village, but there are fewer and fewer such solid and beautiful stone walls.

The only few master craftsmen in the village who knew how to make stone walls were invited by the owner of Waishuiliang Yijing to build the framework of the B&B. The ruins of the original old house have been preserved as much as possible.

When I tapped the firewood door lightly, I thought I was entering a villager's home. There are several clay pots placed beside the low courtyard wall. The green plants in the courtyard are growing wildly and wildly, which is full of wild charm.

The stone-paved swimming pool and the open-air gauze pavilion give the courtyard a touch of Southeast Asian style.

Sitting on mats, covered with bamboo mats and rice paper, drinking a cup of tea and looking into the distance. Even the enclosed courtyard wall cannot block the beautiful scenery of the distant mountains.

Today's Waishuiliang Art Garden has added a No. 2 courtyard in order to receive more friends from afar.

The very popular No. 1 Courtyard is very suitable for large families to travel together and stay in the courtyard, because it has the warm and casual feeling of your own home. The 80-square-meter public area on the first floor connects the open kitchen, dining room and living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a rice cooker, bread machine, and oven, so you can show off your cooking skills. There is also a refrigerator with a large enough capacity to store food for three families.

In order to restore the taste of the mountains, the kitchen also retains an original earth stove. Everyone knows that firewood rice is the most fragrant, but this earth stove is just a decoration, and you still need to use a gas stove to cook.

Friends who can’t cook. Sitting on the kitchen bar, watching the busy figures of my friends in the kitchen washing and chopping vegetables, they chatted wordlessly.

From time to time, I look back at the baby who is watching TV on the sofa in the living room, eating melon seeds and peeling oranges. He is completely relaxed and free. I feel so comfortable that I want to put on my pajamas and take off my delicate makeup, but I feel so comfortable.

Whether cooking in the kitchen or eating around the dining table, looking at the scenery outside the window has become a kind of enjoyment, adding a unique taste to the food.

Courtyard No. 2 in Waishuiliang gives guests more space for activities.

This building that looks like a suspended house from the mountain road outside is the tatami teahouse in Courtyard No. 2.

The 180-degree viewing glass window brings the distant mountains and sea of ??clouds into the tea room.

The large space can accommodate twenty people at the same time to taste tea and perform tea ceremonies.

When the weather is nice, you can also open all the windows hanging on the mountainside, put away all the tables, and do mountain yoga together.

The mountain breeze and sunshine are blowing in the bamboo forest, drifting into the room, inhaling and exhaling, enjoying aerobic exercise with high negative oxygen ions.

Opposite the tea room, there is also a video room. Children can watch cartoons here and transform into a small movie theater at night.

The two courtyards in Waishuiliang have 8 rooms, 3 in Courtyard No. 1, and 5 in Courtyard No. 2.

The interior of the room, like the entire exterior, maintains a natural texture.

However, if you look closely, it is not easy to bring this feeling to people.

Four different materials are used in the room, including wooden ceilings, stone walls, white painted walls, and clear cement floors. The simpler something is, the more difficult it is to do. Even the polished patterns on the clear water floor can affect people's stay experience.

Each room has large glass windows, connecting the inside and outside. There is a couch with a view by the window, which is connected to the fir forest and bamboo shadow outside the window.

This is probably many people’s favorite indoor space, where they sit cross-legged, drink tea and read.

What’s special is that there is a corner of the workbench in Wai Shuiliang’s room. Some people may wonder, after you have gone out to relax, do you still have to worry about work?

But I saw the desk in front of the glass window and the bookshelf in the corner. With green mountain views through the blinds, a cup of coffee and tea, and sweet oranges in a bamboo basket, at this moment, it's like sitting down quietly and reading a book.

Bathtubs, smart toilets, and 5-star hotel standard bedding and toiletries personally selected by the owner ensure that guests can experience the comfort of living in the countryside.

As night falls, the mountain breeze is as cold as well water. Go to the second-floor terrace with the best view and watch the moon hanging on the top of the fir tree, as if you could reach out and pick it off.
