Joined work in November 1966. In June 1966, he was commended as one of the "Five Best Workers of Shandong Province" at the Shandong Province Five Best Workers' Representative Conference in Industry, Transportation, Finance and Trade. At that time, he was a salesperson at the South Street Grain and Oil Station of Chengguan Grain Station in Lijin County. He also served as the deputy director of the Lijin County Guest House.

He was transferred to Fengyang Group (formerly Zibo Sofa Factory) in October 1975. He has successively served as salesman, deputy section chief, and sofa workshop director.

In May 1985, he was hired as deputy director and economist of Zibo Sofa Factory. Since taking office, she has actively assisted in her regular work, been determined to reform, boldly managed, and paid close attention to product quality and product upgrading. Fengyang products have won more than 40 awards in 42 varieties, including national excellence, ministry excellence, provincial excellence, and international expo gold medals. Fengyang mattresses and sofas both won the first place in the national quality inspection competition. Fengyang trademark was rated as a famous trademark in Shandong Province. The company was awarded the title of National Excellent Enterprise in Light Industry.

From 1992 to 1996, it was awarded the title of Honorary Enterprise on the Honor List of China’s Quality Journey.

Since 1990, various economic efficiency indicators have topped the list of China's furniture manufacturing industry many times. Cheng Jiying has successively won the March 8th Red Flag Bearer of the Ministry of Light Industry and the March 8th Red Flag Bearer of Shandong Province, Advanced Worker of Women's Science and Technology, Model Worker of the Second Light Department, Star of the Women's Position, Outstanding Female Entrepreneur, and the Labor Medal of Enriching the People and Xinglu, and was awarded the Ten Women of Zibo City The title of Jie.

Retired in Lijin County Hotel in 1991.
