What are the rules for the trademark transfer process?
1. The trademark transfer process includes: application → acceptance → review → announcement → issuance of transfer certificate.

2. Documents required for trademark transfer:

A. application for trademark transfer/registration;

B identification documents of the transferor and the transferee (photocopy);

C. The entrusted agent shall submit the power of attorney issued by the transferor and the transferee respectively, and directly submit the copy and original ID card of the transferee's agent in the acceptance hall;

D. If applying for transfer, relevant supporting documents shall also be submitted;

E. If the application documents are in a foreign language, a Chinese translation signed by the translation agency is also required.

3. Time for trademark transfer: It takes about 6 months.

Matters needing attention in trademark transfer:

1. Where a registered trademark is transferred, the trademark registrant shall transfer the same or similar trademarks registered on the same or similar goods together. The application for assignment of a registered trademark shall not cause misunderstanding, confusion or other adverse effects.

2. After the transfer application is submitted, the Trademark Office shall issue a notice of acceptance to the applicant for the transfer application that meets the acceptance conditions. If it does not meet the acceptance conditions, it will not be accepted, and a Notice of Rejection will be issued to the applicant.

3. If the transfer application needs to be corrected, the Trademark Office shall issue a notice of correction to the applicant, requiring the applicant to make corrections within a time limit. If the applicant fails to make corrections as required within the prescribed time limit, it shall be deemed as giving up or not approving.

4. After the application for assignment is approved, the assignment of the registered trademark shall be announced. The date of signature on the certificate is the date of announcement, and the transferee enjoys the exclusive right to use the trademark from that date.

5. If the transfer application is deemed to be abandoned or not approved, the Trademark Office will issue a notice of abandonment or not approved.

6. If the transferee in the transfer application is owned by more than one person, the relevant notice or certificate of the Trademark Office will only be sent to the representative. Other * * * people who need proof shall apply for a replacement.
