You can query the certificate provided by the supplier (FSC trademark authorization code CXXXXX, or certificate code XXX-COC-XXXXXX) in the FSC public database https://info.fsc.org to verify the following information:

01 Whether the supplier’s information is consistent with the content of the certificate

02 Whether the certificate is still within the validity period.

03 Whether the purchased products are within the scope of certified products.

You can require suppliers to issue an FSC statement in invoices or sales documents, indicating the product's certification type (FSC100%, mixed or recycled), quantity, product name and other information. This type of information is also the information that certification agencies focus on reviewing. To better control risks, you can also clearly stipulate the type of product certification required in the sales contract and agree on a compensation mechanism for false claims.
