According to legend, in the 1930s, Guo Chaohua and his wife from Chengdu made a living by selling cold lung slices, walking around the streets, and were very popular in the local area because of their exquisite selection of materials and fine production.
Later, a small shop was opened. Because it was run by husband and wife, people gave them the name "Husband and wife lung slices", which represented the beautiful meaning of sharing weal and woe.
