Under what circumstances will the trademark application be rejected?
Generally speaking, the main situations in which trademark registration applications are not accepted include (but are not limited to) the following: 1. The application documents are short of the application form, trademark pattern and a copy of the applicant's identity certificate. 2. The application form is in paper form, and it is not printed or printed. 3. Failing to use the correct application form as required; Modifying the format of the application form without authorization. 4. The name of the commodity/service item is not filled in the application form. 5. The application is not in Chinese; The documents, certificates and evidential materials submitted are in foreign languages, without Chinese translation and stamped with the official seal of the applicant, agency or translation company. 6. The applicant's name and address cannot be determined because the application form is not filled in as required; 7. The name, seal or signature of the applicant on the application form is inconsistent with the copy of the attached identification document. 8. The trademark pattern does not conform to the provisions of Article 13 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law. 9. Claiming to apply for trademark registration with three-dimensional signs, sound signs and color combinations does not conform to the provisions of Article 13 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law. According to Article 2 of the Trademark Law, the Trademark Office of the State Council Administration for Industry and Commerce is in charge of the national trademark registration and management. The State Council Administration for Industry and Commerce has set up a Trademark Review and Adjudication Board to handle trademark disputes.
