In 1951, the government merged three private brewing workshops, namely Chengyi (Huamao), Ronghe (wangmao) and Hengxing (Laimao), by means of redemption, confiscation and takeover, and implemented the policy of "three industries in one"-the establishment of the state-owned Maotai Distillery. Since September 21, Maotai Group's nine-time application for the trademark of "National Liquor" was rejected. On June 12, 219, Maotai Group announced that it would stop using the trademark of "National Liquor Maotai" before June 3, and officially changed its name to "Kweichow Moutai" on June 29.
