Lin Guoer 1996, from Zhaotong, Yunnan. In the video, she is simply an isolated woman. She built a gazebo, a wooden house and a fish pond, from paving concrete floor to erecting beams.

She made a folding chair out of bamboo, a set of tables and chairs out of tires and an electric fan out of a gas tank. Almost all the daily necessities are made by her. In order to solve the problem of electricity consumption in mountainous areas, she also made a hydroelectric generator with an electric fan. From brick to brick, from grass to wood, Lin Guoer built his own paradise with his hands.
