The advantages of the Huping jujube tree are its large tree body, high yield, long life, and the average plant yield is more than 100 kilograms. The fruit weighs an average of 17 grams, and the largest one is nearly 30 grams. When mature, the fruit has a dark red skin, and the fruit is small at the top and large at the bottom. It has a thin waist in the middle and is shaped like a bottle, hence its name. This kind of jujube has thin skin, thick flesh, sweet taste and small core. It is an excellent variety for raw food and drying. The jujube tastes better when it is made into wine. Smaller dates have no seeds, and seedless dates can account for 40% of the total amount of such dates. Fresh dates contain 30% sugar and 493.1 mg of vitamin C. Huping jujube trees are distributed in the Bianshan area below 800 meters: at the northern foot of Nanshan Mountain in Taigu, along the south side of Tongpu Road.

Jiaocheng Junzao
