Strawberries

Donggang has many varieties of strawberries, which are large in size, delicious and good in shape. The largest strawberry weighs eight or nine per pound, which is very gratifying and very popular among people. During the Spring Festival in our Dandong area, the price is around 8 to 12 yuan per catty. In the early 1990s, Donggang began research and development on strawberries. After more than ten years of development, it has begun to take shape. More than 10 new and excellent varieties have been screened and promoted, and were awarded the only "High-Quality Strawberry Production Base" in the country by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Rice

Donggang rice was approved and registered as a national geographical indication by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in 2004 and 2005 respectively. After years of publicity and efforts, the influence of the two geographical indication product brands has continued to expand. The "Donggang Strawberry" certification trademark was rated as one of the top 100 "Regional Public Brands of Chinese Agricultural Products" by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2009 and 2010, and was rated as one of the "Top Ten Agricultural Brands of Liaoning Province" by the Liaoning Provincial Academy of Social Sciences and other departments. "Donggang Rice" was rated as a famous trademark of Liaoning Province. It was rated as "National High-Quality Tasty Japonica Rice" and "National High-Quality Brand Japonica Rice" at the 3rd National Japonica Rice Conference in 2008. It won the "Best-Selling Product Rice" at the Shanghai Green International Expo. "; In 2009, it was named "National Gold Medal Rice" at the 4th National Japonica Rice Conference.
