Trademarks generally go through the following process:
To check whether the same or similar trademark already exists, you also need to confirm the category of trademark registration, the industry and service in which the registered trademark is located.
2. Prepare materials: If you apply in your own name, you generally need to present a copy of your ID card and self-employed business license. To apply for registration in the name of a company, you must present a copy of the company's "Business License" and a completed trademark registration application stamped with the company's official seal and personal signature.
3. Apply for trademark registration to the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, or entrust a trademark agency to help you prepare trademark application documents and submit trademark application documents.
4. The trademark registration authority will conduct trademark review (9-12 months), preliminary review announcement and registration announcement (3 months) on the trademark registration application. If there is no objection to the announcement, you can receive the trademark certificate. Regarding the fee for registering a trademark, the official fee for one trademark application is 300 yuan. You can choose 10 categories of goods or services. If there are less than 10 categories, an official fee of 300 yuan will still be charged. For more than 10 categories, the official fee will be 30 yuan per category. Collect official fees. If a trademark agency is entrusted to handle the matter, the applicant shall pay the trademark registration certificate official fee and agency fee to the trademark agency. Legal basis: Article 22 of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China. Applicants for trademark registration shall fill in the product category and product name of the trademark in accordance with the prescribed product classification table, and submit an application for registration. A trademark registration applicant can apply to register the same trademark for multiple categories of goods through one application.
