Mr. Li Ning, 45 years old, is the founder of Li Ning brand, chairman and executive director of the Group. He is mainly responsible for formulating the overall corporate strategy, planning and business development of the Group.

Mr. Li Ning is one of the most outstanding athletes of the 20th century. At the 6th World Gymnastics Championships held in 1982, Mr. Li won six gold medals in the men's gymnastics event, creating history in the world of gymnastics and earning the reputation of the "Prince of Gymnastics" in China. At the 23rd Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984, Mr. Li won three gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal, becoming the athlete who won the most medals at that time. In 1987, Mr. Li became the only Asian member of the International Olympic Committee's Athletes' Commission. From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Li was a member of the Men's Technical Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation and is currently an honorary member of the International Gymnastics Federation. In 1999, Mr. Li was selected as the "World's Best Athlete of the 20th Century" by the World Sports Journalists Association.

After retiring from sports in 1989, Mr. Li Ning conceived the idea of ??launching the Li Ning brand with the goal of creating the first national sports goods brand in China. Mr. Li has been expanding and promoting the Group's business and developing China's sporting goods industry over the past 18 years. Mr. Li holds a bachelor's degree in law from Peking University Law School, an executive master's degree in business administration from Peking University Guanghua School of Management, and an honorary doctorate in technology from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
