Functional Indications/Indications It is used to detect the N-antigen of the new coronavirus in oropharyngeal swabs and nasopharyngeal swab samples of people suspected of pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus infection. It is generally used for sample testing during the acute infection period, that is, within 7 days of the onset of symptoms in suspected people. This product cannot be used alone to diagnose novel coronavirus infection. It should be combined with nucleic acid testing, imaging and other diagnostic information as well as medical history and contact history to determine the infection status. Positive results can be used for early triage and rapid management of suspected people, but positive results only indicate the presence of the new coronavirus N antigen in the sample and cannot be used as a basis for confirming the new coronavirus infection. A negative result does not exclude novel coronavirus infection and should not be used alone as the basis for making treatment and disease management decisions. Both suspected positive and negative antigen results should undergo further nucleic acid testing.
