A new bridge will be built between (East) Wanhui (zhou) - Dongping Dongjiang Bridge. The bridge is generally located between S255 (Dongjiang Bridge) and X195 (Shizhou Bridge). It runs north-south. The entire line adopts a design speed of 80km/h and has a two-way six-lane standard.

The Dongping Dongjiang Bridge, which is about to be built, connects Dongping Avenue in Qishi Town, Dongguan and Longxi Town, Boluo County, Huizhou. The project has been included in the border road docking agreement between the three cities. The Dongping Dongjiang Bridge was constructed by Dongguan City and was completed at the end of 2015.

According to the Municipal Transportation Bureau, in order to expand Dongguan’s northward radiation influence, accelerate the transfer of Dongguan’s industries to Huizhou Boluo and Longmen, promote the transfer and upgrading of Dongguan’s industries while improving the sustainable economic development of Dongguan and Huizhou, our city It was decided to build the Dongping Dongjiang Bridge.

The project starts from Dongping Avenue in Qishi Town, Dongguan, crosses the Dongjiang River to the north and ends at Longxi Town, Boluo County, connecting Boluo Luofu Mountain to Qishi Highway. The bridge route is about 2.6km long, of which the bridge length is about 1.78km and the approach road is about 0.83km.

The transportation department said that the construction of the Dongping Dongjiang Bridge will be beneficial to the connection between Qishi, Qiaotou, Changping Town in the northern part of Dongguan City and Boluo, Longmen and other places in Huizhou.
