Requirements

Tmall Mall’s trademark requirements are as follows:

1. Tmall temporarily does not accept applications for opening a store from brands that have not obtained a "Trademark Registration Certificate" or a Trademark Acceptance Notice issued by the Trademark Office (except for imported goods in some categories);

2. Tmall does not accept applications for pure graphic trademarks because such trademarks cannot name store names and store domain names.

In addition to owning your own brand, whether the trademark you hold is R or TM also affects the amount of deposit required to enter Tmall:

1. Brand flagship stores and specialty stores: 100,000 yuan for TM trademarks and 50,000 yuan for all R trademarks;

2. Specialized stores: 150,000 yuan for TM trademarks, 100,000 yuan for all R trademarks.
