Solution: Rebuild the icon cache
This may be a problem with the icon cache, because the icon data is stored in the cache area in the form of links. This will happen if the starting and ending positions of each element in the linked list have changed. This problem can be solved by manually resetting the icon cache.
1) First, right-click the blank space of the desktop and select Properties, switch to the Appearance tab, click Advanced, select Icon from the drop-down list in the Item box, change the size of the icon, and then change it back to the original setting.
the system will automatically empty and rebuild the data in the cache. If not, you can try the second method.
2) Right-click the blank space of the desktop and select Properties, switch to the Appearance tab, click Effects, check Use Large Icon in the pop-up tab, change the size of the icon, and then change back to the original setting.
Case 2: The background color of the desktop icon turns blue
1) My Computer-Properties-Advanced-(Performance) Settings-Visual Effects-Customize-Use a shadow for the icon label on the desktop (make sure this option is selected)-OK;
2) Blank right click/Properties/Appearance/Effect/Show shadow check box under the menu;
3) blank right click/arrange icons/lock the web item on the desktop to remove the tick;
4) Right-click the blank space of the desktop, click Properties, click the Desktop tab, click the Customize Desktop button, click the web tab, and delete all the URLs in the box below the "Web page", and leave the box unchecked before "Lock desktop items".
