Hello! Please check the clothing label before cleaning. If the down jacket needs dry cleaning, it is recommended to send it to a professional dry cleaner for cleaning. If it can be washed, you can hand wash it as follows.
If the overall down jacket is dirty, you can use the overall cleaning method:
Hand washing:
1. Keep the clothes dry, use down jacket cleaning fluid or hand-washing special laundry detergent directly Apply to the stained area and let it sit for 5 minutes (if the stain is serious, use a soft brush to gently scrub the stained area back and forth, or gently wipe the stained area with a clean towel) (If there are no obvious stains on the down jacket, you can proceed directly to step 2) ;
2. Put the down jacket into water with down jacket cleaning solution or laundry detergent (excluding the amount of laundry detergent used in pre-coating), and knead it gently;
3. Stains After removal, rinse the clothes thoroughly with clean water and place them in a ventilated place to dry.
Washing in a drum washing machine:
1) Check the clothing label to confirm that it can be washed;
2) If there are local stains, keep the clothes dry and use down jacket cleaning agent Or apply special liquid laundry detergent for hand washing to the stained area, let it sit for 5 minutes and then perform regular hand washing or machine washing; (if there is heavy staining, you can gently wipe/scrub it with a towel/soft brush; if there are no obvious stains, you can wash it directly); < /p>
3) When machine washing, turn the down jacket so that the fabric is facing in and the lining is facing out, then put it into the washing machine, add laundry detergent, adjust the down jacket washing program, start the washing machine, and complete the entire washing process;
4) Check whether there are any watermarks on the fabric of the clothes, and rinse them in the washing machine 1 to 2 times if necessary.
Under normal circumstances, it is recommended to wash down jackets by hand, because machine washing can easily cause the filling thickness of down jackets to be uneven, the clothes to be deformed, and even lint, which affects the appearance and warmth; it may also cause some coated jackets to be damaged. Down jackets have blistering or coating peeling off. If you need to machine wash your down jacket, you should use the down jacket program of a drum washing machine. If you use a top-opening pulsator washing machine, your down jacket will float on top, making it difficult to wash effectively, and the fabric will be easily scratched. Before machine washing, the down jacket should be turned over so that the fabric is facing in and the lining is facing out.
