A brief history of the development of the company and its products
In 1989, Mr. Chen Qiyuan established "Guangzhou Bawang Cosmetics Co., Ltd."
In 2006, the company was rated as one of the top ten outstanding enterprises in brand building in China, and the brand was rated as one of the top ten most influential cosmetics brands in China. Ms. Wan Yuhua, the general manager, was awarded the title of one of the top ten outstanding enterprises in brand building in China. Home honorary title.
On June 9, 2006, Bawang was awarded the "Best Brand Award" by the Hong Kong Productivity Council. In July, the brand was rated as "Guangzhou Famous Trademark" and "Guangdong Province Famous Trademark".
In 2007, the brand was rated as "China's Well-known Trademark".
In 2008, Bawang shampoo was selected as an industry iconic brand.
In May 2009, the company launched the "Chasing the Wind" series in the Chinese market. This series covers three main categories of products: shampoo, hair care and shower. The company then launched the Chasing Series in Hong Kong in October of the same year.
On July 3, 2009, the company was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offer price was HK$2.38, which was oversubscribed approximately 446 times. Shares increased by 27.31 on the first day.
In December 2009, the company launched the "Bencaotang" series. This series is a Chinese herbal skin care product, and its target customer base is mainly white-collar women. At the end of 2009, the group also launched the "Overlord Men's Series". This series covers three main product categories: shampoo, hair care, and bath products. It is the third new series launched by the company in the same year.
In 2009, the company was rated as a "National High-tech Enterprise" by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The company was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index constituent stocks on March 8, 2010.
In 2010, the company launched a new series of Chinese herbal beverages - Bawang Herbal Tea. The company also plans to launch a new range of Chinese herbal household cleaning products later in the year. The company will then move towards having a comprehensive product group consisting of three main product categories: personal care products, beverages and home care.
