Mianzhu, the origin of Jiannanchun wine, has been brewing for three or four thousand years. Textual research on pottery wine wares unearthed from Sanxingdui site in Guanghan, exquisite wine wares such as bronze jars and casks unearthed from Jintu village in Mianzhu during the Warring States period, wine-making portrait bricks (residual stones) in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and historical records such as Huayang Guozhi Shuzhi and Jinshu can confirm that Mianzhu produced wine not later than the Warring States period. As early as more than 12 years ago, Jiannanchun wine became the royal wine of the court and was recorded in the Book of the Later Tang Dynasty, and it was also listed as a famous wine in the world at that time in the Supplement to the History of the Tang Dynasty written by Li Zhao, a Chinese calligrapher. In the Song Dynasty, Mianzhu's wine-making skills developed on the basis of inheriting the previous generation, and "goose yellow" and "honey wine" were brewed. Among them, "honey wine" was collected as a unique wine-making method in Li Bao's "Continued Beishan Wine Classic" and listed as a famous wine in Song Boren's "Wine History". During the reign of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1662 ~ 1722), large-scale brewing workshops such as Zhu, Yang, Bai and Zhao appeared, and the traditional brewing techniques of Jiannan Chunjiu were further developed. "Mianzhu County Records" records: "Daqu liquor, a local specialty, is mellow in taste, white in color and clear in appearance. By 1949, there were more than 5 wineries, liquor stores and hotels specializing in Mianzhu Daqu, and Mianzhu Daqu was known as the "one of the best jars" in Chengdu. But also sold to Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanjing, Shanghai and other places. Taiwan Province's Sichuan Economic Journal said: "Sichuan Daqu liquor is the first to promote Mianzhu."
