Reading pens are a type of product that our mothers really want us to evaluate. The first thing to say is that products such as reading pens cannot be used as substitutes for parent-child reading and cannot be relied upon. The product tells stories and plays games for children. Of course, I also understand that parents want to use it to "take a break" occasionally.
However, there are many types of reading pens currently on the market, and their quality varies. In order to help parents make a better choice, we evaluated 13 reading pens with the highest comprehensive sales volume from various e-commerce companies. We hope that the actual test can give parents more reference when purchasing~
Our evaluation The 13 reading pens are: HoneyEnglish reading pen, Huohuo Rabbit reading pen, Newman reading pen, Hongen reading pen, iKanwu reading pen, Yidubao reading pen, and Kubi Bear reading pen. Pens, Quwei Cultural Reading Pens, Youbi Reading Pens, Xiaodaren Reading Pens, Xuelijia Reading Pens, Smart Student Reading Pens, and Beiling Reading Pens.

Classification
p>1) Textbook type: Huohuo Rabbit Reading Pen, Newman Reading Pen, Hongen Reading Pen, iKanwu Reading Pen, Yidubao Reading Pen, CoolBear Reading Pen, Xueli JiaDian Reading Pen, Smart Student Reading Pen, and Beiling Reading Pen
These 9 models pay equal attention to both the functions of the reading pen itself and the supporting books. Both reading pens can play MP3, read, and record. The accompanying books cover comprehensive content, including pinyin, mathematics, English, Chinese characters, cognition, encyclopedias, stories, and Chinese studies. It is more biased toward textbook-based learning.
The better ones among these nine are the Huohuotu reading pen, Hongen reading pen, and Newman reading pen (satisfaction levels decrease in order). The other seven models are better in terms of sensitivity, sound quality, picture selection, and teaching materials. There is a problem with professionalism.
2) Cognitive type: Quwei Cultural Reading Pen and Ubi Reading Pen
The supporting books of these two reading pens focus on cognitive things. Quwei's book is a cognitive illustrated book, and the Ubi reading pen comes with 10 sets of scene puzzles and 100 situational learning cards under 7 categories.
If parents prefer "cognition", they can choose these two reading pens. However, the Quwei Cultural Reading Pen has poor sensitivity and can only use batteries. There is a problem of poor picture selection quality in the scene puzzles and situation cards of the Ubi reading pen.
3) Hardware type: Xiaodaren Reading Pen
The selling point of Xiaodaren Reading Pen is the pen itself. As long as the books have audio files, you can use Xiaodaren The client splits the audio and creates a self-made reading package for reading, getting rid of the limitation that the reading pen can only read the corresponding supporting books.
If parents are not satisfied with all the books that come with the reading pen and want their children to read books of their own choosing, they can choose the Little Master reading pen.
4) English enlightenment: Honey English reading pen
Honey English reading pen is purely for supporting books. The 20 volumes of Honey English English picture books are the most satisfactory in the evaluation of. The 20 cardboard books combine the unique designs of cave books, flip books, folding books, and touch books. They are of high quality and not perfunctory at all. They are the most thoughtful among the 13 sets.
If parents focus on educating their children in English, Honey English is undoubtedly the best choice. It should be noted that the reading pen does not have an MP3 playback function and can only perform reading and volume adjustment.
Evaluation summary
Most parents choose reading pens for their children because the reading pen has the function of "reading wherever you click", which allows children to learn knowledge.
And because the reading pen can only read the corresponding matching book (except the Little Master reading pen), the quality of the matching book is the most worthy of consideration when we choose the reading pen. As for the other story and music playback functions of the click pens, these click pens have relatively few built-in MP3s, the content is old-fashioned, and the quality is poor.
The overall feeling of this review is very disappointing. Most of the reading pens have the same content and low quality. They are piled up in large quantities in order to "appear rich", and most of the designs are even ugly
Most of the teaching materials for reading pens cover a wide range of topics and are rich in content. Indeed, it covers a wide range of topics, including pinyin, mathematics, English, Chinese characters, cognition, encyclopedias, stories, Chinese studies (Three Character Classic, Di Zigui, Tang poetry, etc.). Among them, Di Zigui is something I personally dislike.
However, the teaching materials have a very strong sense of patchwork, as if they were randomly put together to make up a set of books for the purpose of "making up the numbers", and there is no more combination of children's cognitive characteristics. The teaching style is very strong. There are also problems with the professionalism of the textbook content, picture quality, and overall content design.
I think parents do not have to rush to let their preschool children enter mathematics, Chinese, and English learning early. I hope that they can pay attention to aesthetics and perception at this stage.
