How long does it take to renew the trademark?
Trademark renewal means that the owner of a registered trademark shall go through certain procedures in accordance with the law within a period of ten years after the expiration of the trademark registration period to extend the validity period of his trademark. The trademark registrant shall go through the renewal formalities in accordance with the regulations within 12 months before the deadline. If this cannot be done within this period, an extension of six months can be granted. Each renewal is valid for ten years.
