Wang Youfu's mentor Li Lanjie

Wang Youfu, who was born in the mountain city of Chongqing, loved martial arts since childhood. At the age of eight, I began to practice the basic skills of Wushu and check boxing with my neighbors, Mr. Pan and Mr. Wei. Soon, Wang Youfu showed his talent for martial arts.

In p>1955, when Yusuke was 9 years old, his father said to him, "You should learn to learn real kung fu, and don't practice flowery boxing and embroidered legs just for fun, which is time-consuming and delays things. I'll introduce you to a great martial artist. " Wang Youfu nodded. So I followed my father to the Wudetang Clinic in Huangshaxi, Chongqing. This clinic was opened by Li Lanjie, Wang Youfu's teacher. As soon as Li Lanjie saw Wang Youfu, he fell in love with him at a young age, but he was full of aura. After nine-year-old Wang Youfu punched at the order of Li Lanjie, Li Lanjie said happily, "Take it, take it, I'll take it."

Li lanjie, who is superior? It turns out that he is an authentic descendant of Emei martial arts. For historical reasons, he is called Shaolin Nanquan. Li Lanjie learned from his family the secrets of Emei martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine bonesetting since childhood, and also learned from four teachers. In order to deeply study martial arts, he visited famous mountains and ancient temples, and successively worshipped seven martial arts wonders, namely, Hong Zhen, Wen Boya, Lou Xingyuan, Chen Guanglie, Huang Rongsheng, He Bolin and Miao Xing, the master of Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Henan Province, as teachers, and devoted himself to cultivation, thus becoming a great master. There are heroes in the south of the Yangtze River among the fellow Wulin in the north and south.

In the late Qing Dynasty, he took part in the imperial examination of Sichuan martial arts, ranking first. From 1934 to 1938, the 21st National Army recruited martial arts instructors, and was hired with the first place. Together with the southern warrior Lan Boxi, he became the head coach of martial arts instructors at the artillery headquarters of the 21st National Army. After the founding of New China, he served as director and martial arts coach of Chongqing Wushu Association.

Wang You became Li Lanjie's closed disciple at an early age. With intelligent understanding, strict systematic step-by-step training and years of unremitting hard study, I finally realized the true meaning of Emei martial arts.

Shortly after becoming a teacher in 1955, Wang Youfu was ordered by Li Lanjie to move in and live with him. He served as a crutch for a long time. For 12 years, Wang Youfu and Li Lanjie lived under the same roof and ate at the same table. Li Lanjie personally demonstrated and took Wang Youfu to fight in martial arts training and actual combat. He also taught the core techniques, training methods and martial arts experience of Emei School.

At the end of p>1955, Liu Rongzhang, the elder brother of Wang Youfu, who was nearly 3 years old, went to Chongqing to visit Li Lanjie. Li Lanjie introduced to Wang Youfu: "This is Brother Liu." "Brother", after Wang Youfu called his brother, Liu Rongzhang did not agree. When Li Lanjie entered the room, Liu Rongzhang said to Wang Youfu, "Brother, brother, my son is older than you." Wang Youfu and Liu Rongzhang told Li Lanjie about it after they left. Li Lanjie said: "As long as you practice hard and wait for two or three years, it will be too late for him to recognize you." Since then, Wang Youfu has practiced harder, and it took him a year to combine the eight methods of Emei School from beginning to end, from end to end, and practice be adept at at will. At this time, Wang Youfu said to Li Lanjie, "Teacher, it's time to learn something new." Li Lanjie said to Wang Youfu very seriously, "It's not enough to practice the eight methods. It's very abstruse. You'll know when you play martial arts in the future."

It turns out that Emei School is a kung fu that is compatible with the essence of the two martial arts, namely, Buddhism and Taoism. In order to get the essence, systematic step training is very important. Eight methods are not only the basic methods of boxing, but also pay attention to hand, eye, body, method, step, essence, spirit, qi, strength and merit. It is also a disciplined fighting method. Specifically, there are eight kinds of attack methods: lifting, blocking, pushing, hanging, cloud, pulling, carrying and killing. The eight methods of attack and defense take the yin-yang circle, pay attention to closing the opponent's move line and closing the opponent's back position (closing the opponent's move root section). Combine the technical characteristics of point, line, plane and body with the elements of fighter, time, space and distance to close the opponent's play. At the moment when the collision bucket touches the opponent's action, using the lever principle and tangent principle, through the advantage of local "two hands" to play "one hand", the situation of "more" to play "less" in the war situation is formed. The martial arts movements of the Eight Methods are closely combined with the posture and footwork, and the link between the simplex and the martial arts methods strictly follows the Taiji principle of relying on, opposing and transforming Yin and Yang. The combination of overt and covert tactics, with the use of covert tactics as covert tactics, and the covert arrest of opponents is difficult to find and react, which is a clever use of eight methods and a powerful one with clever force. Take the rule of using the fist with the yang hand as the hard work of the eight methods, and win with skill.

In a word, the Eight Methods is actually a classic attack method to discuss the methods and changes of martial arts attack. Including changes in moves, tactics, time and space, enlightens the thinking of martial arts, and enables practitioners to form a clever and gentle style in martial arts.

In p>1957, Wang Youfu began to learn the ground trip and flying technique. In order to master the aerial technique in martial arts, he introduced the acrobatic technique of difficult somersault as an auxiliary basic training, so Wang Youfu's flying technique in martial arts was both high, beautiful and difficult. Some martial arts moves are done by excellent routine athletes of professional teams today, and they are also very difficult. Like a flying cloud splicing an old cow to move a corner, it is required to move the body forward in parallel at a height of one person in the air, cross two legs to do wringing scissors, connect the swivel 36o, support the body with hands at the moment of landing (feet don't land), and use inertial hands to do a hug and fall, and the upper body and lower limbs do a 18o transposition. Anyone who has seen Wang Youfu's colleagues practicing the flying technique is amazed by his amazing jumping ability, sensitive coordination ability, perfect combination of strength and speed!

training internal strength Yijin Jing and washing marrow Jing

Shaolin, Wudang and Emei are three famous schools in China Wulin. Although the three schools have different styles, they all emphasize both internal and external cultivation.

In p>1957 and 1958, Li Lanjie gave Wang Youfu the basic skills of martial arts training, excellent internal skills, the whole-course training method of Yijinjing and pulp washing, and then taught him to start "furniture" (that is, piling and practicing hard with instruments). At the beginning, Wang Youfu used all kinds of techniques to hit the grass cage pile (the first step of piling). In the first few days, because of the swelling of the part touching the pile, it was a terrible pain when he touched it. After soaking and scrubbing with hand washing pills, Wang Youfu gritted his teeth and just survived. From the beginning, it can only be driven dozens of times, and then it is driven more than 2, times a day. Until it was replaced by yellow bar pile and hemp bar pile, everyone who had seen Wang Youfu's piling said: Wang Youfu's piling was not done with his hands and feet, just like hitting it fiercely with a wooden stick, and the momentum was only amazing!

Emei school believes that when martial arts reaches the stage of "furniture", it must be combined with internal skills, otherwise it will not only fail to practice hard skills, but will hurt the body.

after Mr. Wang Youfu became famous, he often told his disciples that to practice martial arts well, it is impossible to practice hard, heavy and fast kung fu without stretching muscles and pulling bones, enduring the pain of tearing muscles and muscles and subjecting all parts of the body to severe shocks. Piling is just muscle pain. Stretching tendons and pulling bones in order to cultivate the excellent skills of relaxing tendons and washing marrow, the whole body muscle fibers and muscles are stretched to the limit, twisted and twisted, and the breath is closed, and the movement of loosening and tightening from extremely loose to extremely tight to extremely loose is really painful. However, after such training, the "thoroughly remoulded" qualitative change brought about by tendon-relaxing and marrow washing not only enables practitioners to have hard, heavy and fast martial arts strength; It also allows practitioners to break through the limits of the human body again and again and stimulate their potential; It also improves the physical quality of practitioners qualitatively.

under the careful teaching of Li Lanjie, Wang Youfu has improved his martial arts day by day. When he was under 15 years old, he had repeatedly compared his martial arts skills with some famous figures, showing his superior fighting skills.

In p>1959, Liu Rongzhang went to Chongqing to visit Mr. Li Lanjie. At that time, Mr. Wang Youfu was practicing shaking the big pole. Liu Rongzhang found that Wang Youfu in front of him had grown into a handsome boy, and his ability to shake the pole was superb and powerful, far beyond Liu Rongzhang's imagination. So Liu Rongzhang asked Li Lanjie, "Teacher, it seems that you have taught him all the good things." Li Lanjie watched Wang Youfu, his favorite disciple, practice, and only smiled and said nothing. Liu Rongzhang asked again, "Teacher, can I fight with my younger brother?" Li Lanjie said with a smile, "Yusuke, Brother Liu called you a younger brother. Come and fight with Brother Liu." Wang Youfu took a look at Liu Rongzhang, put down the big stick in his hand and said, "Please, Senior Brother," Li Lanjie said at this moment, "Youfu, your Senior Brother Liu can bear it physically, so let go of the fight." Because Liu Rongzhang's strength is clear to him. Before the liberation of Chongqing, Liu Rongzhang defeated Liu Moumou, a famous expert in Sichuan Wulin at that time, with a woodcutter bundling firewood. A set of boxing of this master was selected as the designated basic teaching material of the Central Martial Arts Museum. During the Anti-Japanese War, Liu Rongzhang also defeated a famous martial artist who came to Chongqing (now living abroad).

In fact, Li Lanjie also wants to take this opportunity to see what the level of his carefully cultivated disciples is.

when Li lanjie finished speaking, he saw Liu rongzhang standing in a friendly hand, saying, "come on, come on.". Wang Youfu pointed his right hand forward as a sheep's finger at Liu Rongzhang and said with a smile, "Brother, I'm coming." Liu Rongzhang replied, "Come on." Immediately, I shook my hand and stepped forward. Just before I moved, I was hit by Wang Youfu in the abdomen, which felt very weighty. Liu Rongzhang didn't expect this leg to come so suddenly and at such a fast speed. After a slight adjustment, he made a feint with his hand, and suddenly rushed forward with his ba specialty, only to see Wang Youfu cut Liu Rongzhang's front hand and back position from the outer ring with his pick. Suddenly deformed and changed the angle, Liu Rongzhang was pinned off the ground with his feet and legs, and his body completely lost its center of gravity. If Wang Youfu had not held Liu Rongzhang by hand, this fall would have caused Liu Rongzhang to fall heavily. Liu Rongzhang composed himself, stood still and patted Wang Youfu on the shoulder and said, "My younger brother is good at kung fu, so my two brothers should be more affectionate in the future." This year, Wang Youfu was less than 15 years old. Since then, Liu Rongzhang and Wang Youfu have become close friends and brothers in the same door. He also passed on his life's martial arts experience to this little younger brother without reservation.
