1. Determining the type of case should be based on the nature of the legal relationship of the matters involved in the case and the characteristics of the applicable procedures. . The type code should be concise and accurately reflect the core characteristics of the type of case, and should be expressed with no more than 3 Chinese characters. The type code for each type of case should be unique.

2. Case numbers of the same type of code shall be arranged with sequential natural numbers according to the order in which the cases are received in the same year, except for the circumstances specified in paragraph 2. The number of a criminal review case is an 8-digit natural number with a fixed length, which is randomly determined by the court in charge and must not be compiled sequentially.

3. For cases with different types of code names handled by different courts or handled by the same court, their numbers should be compiled separately.

When the administrative division changes but the corresponding intermediate and grassroots courts do not make corresponding adjustments, the court code shall be compiled according to the original administrative division code.
